VETERINARY CLINICAL COMPLEX (VCC)

The Veterinary Clinical Complex (VCC) of Parikrama College of Veterinary Science, Kashti is a state-of-the-art of super speciality centre dedicated to integrating advanced veterinary healthcare with competency-based clinical education. The complex comprises separate Large and Small Animal Hospitals, where Medicine, Surgery, and Gynaecology & Obstetrics function in a coordinated, species-specific framework. Equipped with independent 100 mA and 500 mA radiographic units, advanced ultrasonography systems, modular operation theatres, intensive care facilities, and recovery units, the VCC delivers comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services. The Small Animal Hospital provides specialised care in ophthalmology, dermatology, endoscopy, haemodialysis, and pet animal obstetrics, while physiotherapy and rehabilitation services ensure complete post-operative recovery. Integrated diagnostic laboratories for haematology, biochemistry and clinical pathology support accurate diagnosis and evidence-based treatment. The Gynaecology & Obstetrics unit offers hands-on training in pregnancy diagnosis, fertility evaluation, artificial insemination, and reproductive emergency management. Preventive healthcare services, including vaccination programmes and farmer advisory services, promote animal health and livestock productivity. Receiving referral cases from more than 60 km, the VCC has earned the confidence of livestock owners and pet caregivers across the region. Beyond clinical service, it serves as a dynamic teaching and training centre where students develop diagnostic expertise, surgical proficiency, ethical values, and professional competence through experiential learning, making the VCC a centre of excellence in veterinary education, research, and community outreach.
